Every Disney Princess has been on her own unique and incredible journey. And during the 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, runDisney® athletes can celebrate those journeys––and live their very own––over five fantastical days at Walt Disney Resort.

From February 26–March 2, 2026, join us for this fairy-tale weekend where you can embrace your fate—or change it—during the Disney Princess 5K. See how far you’ll go as part of the Disney Princess 10K. Get tangled up in the fun of the Disney Princess Half Marathon. Or go beast mode by taking on the Disney Fairytale Challenge made up of both the 10K and Half Marathon. And once the running is done, wrap up your royal weekend with some Disney Princess Yoga at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

Disney Fairytale Challenge

  • Saturday February 28 - Sunday, March 1, 2026
  • Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
  • Location: Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

Go beast mode by taking on our challenge inspired by everyone’s favorite beauty, Belle. Made up of both the 10K and the half marathon, being our Guest for these 19.3 miles will earn you three treasured medals!

Complete both the 10K and Half Marathon races on pace and earn:

  • Disney Princess 10K Medal
  • Disney Princess Half Marathon Medal
  • Disney Fairytale Challenge Medal

That’s a grand total of 3 medals in one weekend!

You’ll need to register for the Disney Fairytale Challenge––which includes both races––to be eligible for the challenge medal.

Club run Disney Gold and Platinum Registration begins June 17, 2025.

General Registration opens June 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET.

Registration fee varies based on the date of purchase:

  • June 24, 2025 - December 22, 2025: $432.00
  • Beginning December 23, 2025: $442.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Proof of Time Guidelines

If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in 2 hours and 30 minutes (2:30) or less, proof of time is required for start group placement. If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in over 2 hours and 30 minutes, proof of time is not required. Start group placement is based on your anticipated finish time and group capacities. Disney Fairytale Challenge participants should adhere to Half Marathon proof of time requirements. Proof of time is not required for the 5K and 10K races. Please note that if you submit a proof of time from a race distance of 10K, 10 Mile or Marathon, an industry standard calculation will be applied to equate your finish time.

  • Proof of time must be provided from an officially timed race on a USATF certified course reflecting results between January 1, 2023 and September 1, 2025, and must be one of the below listed distances.
  • Participants will be placed in the last start group if appropriate race distance is not submitted for proof of time or if the data provided is incomplete or cannot be verified.

Half Marathon Proof of Time: Results for a 10K, 10-Mile, Half Marathon or Marathon

Please note: We cannot accept relays, trail runs, self-timed, training or Virtual Runs as proof of time.

When you register, a valid proof of time must include the following:

  • Name of Race
  • Distance
  • City
  • State
  • Date (see acceptable date range above)
  • Finish Time (in Hours : Minutes : Seconds)
  • Website Link to Results

Example: Disney Princess Half Marathon, 13.1 miles, Orlando, FL, February 27, 2022—2:05:20

  • For starting placement, proof of time must be submitted by the participant for each one. If someone else registered you, your proof of time must be submitted by the person who registered you and must adhere to the Proof of Time Guidelines.
  • Proof of Time must be submitted at the time of registration. You may change your proof of time until the deadline of September 1, 2025. No changes can be made after September 1, 2025. If data provided is incomplete or cannot be verified, you will be placed in the last start group.
  • No changes to your starting group will be made after September 1, 2025.
  • If you register after the proof of time deadline, you are still able to submit a valid proof of time at the point of registration. After you conclude the registration process, you cannot add or edit proof of time.
  • Past runDisney races may be used as proof of time, however, you will need to submit them with your race registration.
  • Proof of time submissions must be made within your participant account and cannot be accepted via email. If someone else registered you, your proof of time submissions must be made to your registration within the account for the person who registered you and cannot be accepted via email.
  • Update your proof of time in your participant account.
