Wine, Dine, Run and PARTY! New Surprises to Come to the 2019 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend Post-Race Party!

What’s the best part of a runDisney race weekend? Celebrating your accomplishments at Walt Disney World® Resort, of course, and the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is the perfect event for this as the celebration is built in! Runners can enjoy a race well-run during the exclusive Post-Race Party on Sunday, November 3 at Epcot, a delicious ending to the 10th Anniversary event weekend. Take a look at what’s coming to this year’s party that you and your friends and family won’t want to miss.

After three days of exciting endurance events, it’s time to wine and dine, in true Epcot International Food & Wine Festival fashion. New for this year, Post-Race Party-goers can taste their way around the “world” and experience all the excitement beginning at 5:00 p.m. Following the evening’s fireworks, things heat up as Epcot stays open later, just for YOU. First, kicking off the Post-Race Party, cheers your fellow runners and join in on a 10th Anniversary Celebratory Toast around World Showcase at 10:00 p.m. Then, enjoy the after-hours fun until 1:00 a.m. including exclusive access to the Global Marketplaces, select Epcot attractions like Test Track, Frozen Ever After and Soarin’ Around the World, unique entertainment, themed food & beverages for purchase and commemorative merchandise.

Join us around World Showcase for your chance to meet long-lost Disney friends like Mushu from “Mulan,” Remy from “Ratatouille” and the Three Caballeros, as well as some favorite Disney pals dressed to celebrate cultures from around the world! Plus, you’ll want to stop by the Morocco stage for a “can’t miss” appearance by illustrious – and hysterical – members of the Adventurers Club. The entertainment is just part of the Post-Race Party fun! Also available exclusively during the party is a limited-edition jumbo pin featuring all your favorite characters from the 2019 race weekend. Stop by the Future World kiosk after 10:00 p.m. to purchase yours. Guests can also purchase a themed nightcap in a commemorative Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend glowing glass. The “13.RUM” features a delicious mixture of cranberry juice, rum and blue curaçao, a perfect ending for your race weekend.

Bring your appetite to try the fresh flavors of 30 different Global Marketplaces while getting your groove on to the sounds of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Gather around World Showcase Lagoon and be dazzled by the all-new nighttime spectacular, Epcot Forever, where Guests will witness a breathtaking display of lasers, lights and fireworks as the show takes them on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot.
