Classic Disney Characters Return as the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Race Themes!

It’s the most magical race weekend on Earth as the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna makes its return to the Walt Disney World Resort January 8 – 12, 2020. We’re excited to throw it back with our retro-inspired race themes featuring some of your favorite classic Disney characters! Take a look:

New for the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, Pluto makes his ‘paws’itively exciting return to the Walt Disney World 5K. As luck would have it, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will now be joining us for the Walt Disney World 10K. Rounding out the exciting news, give a chEAR as leading lady, Minnie Mouse, joins our pal Mickey for the first time as co-hosts of the Walt Disney World Marathon!

Whether you’re taking on 39.3 miles around Walt Disney World Resort or dashing your way to the finish line at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Goofy will be your host this year for both the run Disney Kids Races presented by GoGo squeeZ® Applesauce and the 15th Anniversary Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge!
