SEA-lebrate Your Castaway Cay Challenge Accomplishments Aboard Disney Cruise Line!

We’re racing into the 27th Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna this January and gearing up for another exciting set of events. Those making it the ultimate runner’s vacation and setting sail with Disney Cruise Line onboard the Disney Dream for the 2020 Castaway Cay Challenge can start making plans with these great ways to SEAlabrate your running accomplishments! Let’s ‘dive’ right in:

RELAX

After completing all those miles, you’ve definitely earned some “me time” for relaxation! For a little peace and quiet, look no further than the Quiet Cove Pool area, an onboard oasis built with adults in mind. The serene atmosphere makes it an ideal for relaxing in the sun and sipping cocktails. Take your relaxing to the island with the pristine adult-exclusive Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay. With hammocks, white-sand beach and a private dining location, you’ll be running on island time in no time. Slow things down in the evenings with drinks and live music in one of the nightclubs and lounges onboard Disney Dream. Sip a drink with scenic views from around the world at Skyline, have some sparkly fizzy fun at Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar or catch the latest game at Pub 687.

REFRESH

Get yourself back in ‘ship shape’ with a few ways to rejuvenate during your Disney Cruise vacation. Indulge in a spa day at sea at Senses Spa & Salon where you’ll find a multitude of high-end services perfect for post-race pampering. Take a deep breath and stretch out those sore muscles with a little ‘namaste at sea’ when you join for group yoga, available both onboard the ship as well as the adult-exclusive beach, Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay. The peaceful ocean views will help you quickly unwind for a restorative and refreshing practice.

REFUEL

Raise a glass (or two) and chart a course (for dessert) to refuel post-race. The delicious dining options are endless on a Disney Cruise vacation. Treat yourself to fine dining with one of two adults-only restaurants available onboard Disney Dream, Palo and Remy, both with incredible ocean views and top-notch cuisine. Whether breakfast in bed or a midnight snack, stay in and relax in your stateroom with 24-hour complimentary room service. Have a sweet tooth? Drive by for a pit-stop at Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats, a dessert shop full of gelato, ice cream, baked treats and more!
