The Force is strong with this smoothie! We all know that running is great for the body, but we also know that exercise like running can bring on inflammation. The good news is that foods rich in Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, can help decrease the amount of post-run inflammation, PLUS it can aid in the growth and repair of muscle tissue. Try my kid-approved and Vitamin C packed Green Grogu Smoothie inspired by The Child himself! As a mom and Dietitian, I truly enjoy being creative in the kitchen with my kiddos and introducing them to healthy foods like these Vitamin C powerhouse ingredients. Green Grogu Smoothie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and pour into glass.
  3. Lie a toothpick with two blueberries across the top of the glass to represent eyes.
  4. Using a knife, create two small slits in the center of ¼ kiwi segments (leave skin on the outside) and place on either side of the toothpick to represent ears.
