Hydration is of utmost importance to a runner, as it can make or break your athletic performance. So why is it that most runners struggle to get enough fluids? Water is always a good choice, but don’t forget that foods contribute liquid your overall hydration status as well. Applesauce is one of those foods that doubles in providing fluids and nutrients your body needs! As a mom and Dietitian, I am always coming up with tasty and creative ways to fuel my active family. These Frozen Fruity Belle Pops using GoGo Big squeeZ pouches are the perfect healthy treat and receive rave reviews from my whole team at home – give them a try to re-hydrate after your virtual race and you’ll feel magical!

Frozen Fruity Belle Pops

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Empty all 8 GoGo Big SqueeZ pouches into a large bowl and stir to mix flavors well.
  2. Pour mixture into 16 individual bell-shaped ice pop molds.
  3. Place two strawberry halves into each filled individual ice pop mold.
  4. Cover molds and freeze on a level shelf in freezer overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
  5. No ice pop mold No problem! Use 5-ounce paper cups instead. Place cups on a flat tray and fill with mixture and fruit, then cover with plastic wrap and insert popsicle sticks into the cente
