runDisney Style: Pirate-Inspired Running Shirt Tutorial

Supplies
- Craft Cutter
- 12" x 12" cutting mat
- Red and black iron-on vinyl
- Blue and white striped shirt
- Weeding tool, scraper and scissors
- White fabric
- Ironing board and iron
INSTRUCTIONS
Click to save the art file needed above.
- Cut vinyl slightly larger than the image and affix it to the sticky cutting mat (shiny side down).
- Run the cutter, twice (first for the hat, then for the lettering/wrinkle details), then remove excess vinyl using the weeding tool.
- Lay shirt on the ironing board and center the first part of the design (the hat.)
- Cover vinyl with white fabric and iron for 30 -45 seconds (non-steam setting). Remove the backing and check adhesion.
- Carefully align the second part of the design (lettering/wrinkle detail) vinyl over the first design. Repeat covering the vinyl with white fabric and iron for 30 -45 seconds (non-steam setting). Remove backing and check adhesion.
