runDisney First Look: Revealing the Challenge Theme for the 2023 runDisney Virtual Series!

Our most magical virtual event series makes its exciting return this summer for the 2023 runDisney Virtual Series! Whether you choose one of three unique 5Ks or go the extra mile and take on the challenge by completing all three, our summertime virtual series is the perfect event to stay motivated or train for a future runDisney race.

While we're not ready to let the cat (ahem, mouse) fully out of the bag just yet, we wanted to kick off the last onsite race of the 2022-2023 runDisney race season with an extra surprise: revealing the challenge theme for the 2023 runDisney Virtual Series!

Speaking of exciting things happening in 2023, this year also marks the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. The Disney100 celebration is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone moment that we just couldn't pass up celebrating. This summer, we invite you to gather your friends and family and run none other than The Disney100 Challenge!

Disney100 Challenge participants can look forward to earning this extra-special finishers medal featuring the mice that started it all – Mickey and Minnie! This year’s medal comes with some hidden magic - pop off the front part of the medal to reveal a magnet you can use to showcase your achievement on your fridge, office whiteboard or location of your choice, AND still have a keepsake medal for your wall. Stop by the runDisney Showcase at the runDisney Springtime Surprise Health & Fitness Expo this weekend to check it out in person!

New to the runDisney Virtual events? Have your own magical run through a course of your choosing: your neighborhood, local trails or even a scenic path on your next vacation. From runDisney enthusiasts, to beginning runners looking to stretch their skills, these virtual races are great ways to introduce your friends and family to running and jumpstart training for upcoming runDisney race events.
