Picture perfect runDisney memories! Capturing those magical on-course moments are extremely important for many of our runners, from special moments with Disney characters to running through Cinderella Castle. As we head into the runDisney race season, be prepared for getting great race day photos with these tips from our friends at Disney PhotoPass.

Race Weekend Photo Tips

• Keep a lookout: From the Expo and the race courses to in the Theme Parks post-race, you can find Disney PhotoPass photographers all around available to capture your memories.

  • On race day, you can find Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed at character locations, park icons, at the finish line, etc. Just look for the photographers often near bright green tents.
  • Be sure to stop by the Disney PhotoPass booth at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo for help with any race photo and Memory Maker questions and for some fun photo ops!

• Picture Perfect Race Day: Become a pro at taking race day photos with these tips.

  • Smile and look the photographers’ way when you run past them, and have fun! No matter where you’re at on the course, Disney PhotoPass photographers will be located on both sides to capture those smiles.
  • Make sure your bib number is front facing and visible to the camera. Your bib number is how all race course photos will be linked to your account.

• Celebrate Your Accomplishments: Show off your newly earned ‘bling’ with Disney PhotoPass photographers at all Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks.

  • Purchase Memory Maker! With Memory Maker, you'll get digital downloads of all yourDisney PhotoPass photos taken during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort for one price. This includes photos from every race of the weekend you participate in and all the photos you take in the theme parks with Disney PhotoPass Service, including attraction photos. All runDisney event photos should be available to view within the My Disney Experience app or MyDisneyPhotoPass.com within 48 hours of your race. To link your race photos to your account, log in and select “Link Photos,” and enter your 16-digit code, which is the 11-digit RaceID, plus your five-digit bib number. If your bib number is less than five digits, add zeros before your bib number to fill in the remaining numbers. Specific event RaceID numbers can be found in the official Digital Guide.
