Holiday cheer is in the air this December as we head into the 2024 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas! Participants can gather 'round for a merry adventure with 3 festive 4Ks featuring beloved Disney friends AND a cheerful challenge for completing them all. Whether you’re running through neighborhood wonderlands decorated for the season, exploring scenic local trails, or discovering a picturesque path during your holiday getaway, lace up and make this race day merry and bright!
We’ve unwrapped a few ways to make the most of your merry miles:
Race Day Tool Kit
Start your virtual miles off on the right foot! Gear up for your holly jolly jogs when you download our virtual race kit featuring race bib, mile markers and a “Start Line” and “Finish Line.”
- Registered runners can download theirs by heading to the “Manage Account” section on the runDisney website. From the dashboard, click on “Your Registrations” and select runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas.
Jingle All the Way to a Joyful At-Home Race
Whether you’re dashing through the snow with your pals or embarking on your own virtual adventure, make your race day miles merrier with a few ways to add a little ‘character’ to your event:
- Make it a Group Affair : Run with a few friends and family or have them meet you at your finish line. Miles go by quicker with good company!
- Festive Race Course Signs : For added merry motivation, create a few themed inspirational signs and strategically place them throughout your course. Get your creative juices flowing with a few examples like “Sleigh the Course!” and “Keep Calm and Jingle On!”
- Finish Line Moment : Create your own photo finish! Finish line “tape”? Grab some streamers! Celebratory moment? Toss some confetti! You could even make your own medal ceremony and have someone hang your hard-earned bling around your neck.
