Spectator Info

As a spectator, you do more than just watch the race. You support your runner, cheering them on and screaming their name as they pass you. Mile by mile, you motivate them to keep pushing through the race course. You're there at the finish line to greet them and celebrate their achievement. Be a part of your Princess' storybook run at Disney's Princess Half Marathon. Below is a guide to help you plan watching the race.

Make sure you read the helpful tips on arriving to the race and parking on race day as well as the additional information about viewing your runner in the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks.

Disney's Princess Half Marathon Parking

Parking at Epcot® is free before 7:00 a.m. If you arrive afterward, you will be charged the daily parking fee. Athletes and spectators should plan on arriving at Epcot® by 4:00 a.m. on the half marathon race morning. The main entrance of Epcot® from World Drive will be closed to all traffic from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on the morning of the half marathon. All traffic will be directed to the Magic Kingdom® Park Parking Lot where they will be transported to Epcot® via monorail.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Royal Family 5K Parking

Parking at Epcot® is free before 7:00 a.m. If you arrive afterward, you will be charged the daily parking fee. Traffic will not be affected for the Disney Royal Family 5K.

Spectator Tool

Do you want to know all of the best places to see your runner along the course? The online spectator tool will help you plan your customized route based on your runner's pace or estimated finish time. You can even plan a route to see your runner go through Cinderella Castle!

Viewing Your Runner

You can view your runner in a number of different areas along the Half Marathon course including the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks and the Finish Line area.

Magic Kingdom® Park

Spectators will be able to see their runner run through the Magic Kingdom® Park near Cinderella Castle (Mile 5.3). This location will be open at 5:30 a.m. You do not need a ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom® Park, but to enter the ChEAR Zone area, you will need a ChEAR Zone wristband.

To reach the Magic Kingdom® Park spectator area from Epcot®, walk from the start of the monorail station at Epcot® and ride it to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Exit the monorail, walk down the ramp and follow the overhead signs for the monorail to Magic Kingdom® Park. Ride the monorail to Magic Kingdom® Park and exit the platform heading towards the Magic Kingdom® Park entrance. Proceed through the entrance and Main Street U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle, where you will find the spectator area.

Finish Line

Spectators can see their runners again at the Finish Line. There will be a limited number of complimentary seats along the Finish Line available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reserved seating is available for purchase through our ChEAR Squad.

The Finish Line is located in the Imagine Lot of Epcot®. To reach the finish line from Magic Kingdom® Park, take the monorail back to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Exit the monorail and follow the signs for the monorail to Epcot®. Ride the monorail back to Epcot® and upon arriving, walk down the ramp and exit to your left towards the parking lots. The Imagine Lot and Finish Line area will be on your right.

Runner Tracking

Family and friends will be able to track participants with live online runner tracking for the half marathon. Participants will have the opportunity to send split times via email, text messaging, and PDAs by registering for this service on the website. You can also sign up for runner tracking at Disney's Fit for a Princess Expo.

As a spectator, friend, family and/or Guest of one of our event participants, you can be a part of Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend when you join the CHEAR Squad!

Silver Package $39

*Reserved seating/viewing locations may vary and are subject to change. Guest must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled event to ensure reserved seating/viewing and actual location within the reserved seating/viewing areas is on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserved seating/viewing amenity is available for the registered ChEAR Squad member only. Each Guest will need to purchase a package for entry to the designated areas.

**Race Retreat will open to friends and family beginning at 5:30 a.m. Runners participating in Disney's Princess Half Marathon must purchase Race Retreat package separately and are subject to availability.

ChEAR Squad Packages are priced per person. Offer subject to availability and pre-purchase is required. Restrictions apply. Offer may be withdrawn or modified at any time without notice. ChEAR Squad Packages are not needed for children under 3.
