Registration Policy

  • Entry fees for The Disney Princess Half Marathon Events, Commemorative Items, or any other The Disney Princess Half Marathon event(s) related purchases are non-refundable.
  • Disney reserves the right to refuse the entry into, and/or revoke any registration for, any race for any reason in its sole discretion with refund of any applicable registration fees being the sole remedy of any such refusal and/or revocation.
  • Registrations may be transferred within the same race weekend, to a different race distance, as long as the desired race distance is not sold out. The Guest must first register for the new event for the transfer to be valid; any difference in registration price the for a lesser distance (if any) will then be refunded, less a $45 transfer processing fee.
  • Transfers are not allowed for 5Ks, runDisney Kids Races or sold out events.
  • All races are non-transferable. between individuals, between event weekends, and to events that have reached capacity/sold-out.
  • Race entries/bibs are not transferrable from one person/participant to another person/participant. Sale, trade and/or transfer of race entry/bib number is strictly prohibited and may result in the disqualification of and/or banning offenders from participating at future events. Anyone caught attempting to sell or transfer their race entry/bib to another person/participant, pick up another person's/participant's race entry/bib, or participate in a race using another participant's race entry/bib, will have said race entry/bib cancelled and/or revoked, be disqualified, and be removed from the race without refund.

  • Participants for the Disney Princess Half Marathon and Glass Slipper Challenge must be 14 years of age or older.
  • Participants in the Disney Enchanted 10K must be 10 years of age or older.
  • You must be 5 years of age on race day to participate in the 5K. Each participant must be able to complete the 5K on their own.
  • Runners unable to maintain the required 16 min./mile pace may be picked up at any point along the course and transported to the finish.
  • runDisney Kids Race distances are determined by age group for kids 8 and under.
  • A training pace of 15-minute per mile pace is recommended.

runDisney proof of time guidelines:

If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in less than 2:45 hours, proof of time is required for start corral placement. Glass Slipper Challenge participants should adhere to Half Marathon proof of time requirements. Proof of time is not required for the 5K or 10K races. Please reference the Race Pacing Chart below for finish times and associated pacing per mile. Please note we do not accept self-timed, training, or virtual runs as proof of time.

  • Proof of time must be provided from an officially timed race reflecting results after February 1, 2015 and must be one of the below listed distances. Runners will be placed in the last corral if the appropriate race distance is not submitted for Proof of Time.
    • Half Marathon – 10K, 12K, 15K, 10 Mile, Half Marathon or Marathon
  • A valid proof of time provided at the time of registration must include the following*:
    • Name of Race
    • Distance
    • City
    • State
    • Date
    • Finish time
    • Link to Results

*For example, Walt Disney World Marathon, 26.2, Orlando, FL, 1/13/16, – 3:35

  • For starting corral placement, proof of time must be submitted by the participant for each individual race.
  • If proof of time is not provided by November 15, 2016, data provided is incomplete or cannot be verified, you will be placed in the last start corral.
  • No corral changes will be made after November 15, 2016.
  • Past runDisney races may be used as proof of time, however, they are not automatically input for your race registration.

  • 16 minute per mile pace for all athletes in the Disney Princess Half Marathon, Disney Enchanted 10K, or the Disney Princess 5K.
  • Runners unable to maintain the pace may be picked up at any point along the course and transported to the finish line area.
  • A training pace of 15-minute per mile pace is recommended.
  • Pace Cyclists will be on the course indicating when runners are behind pace by waving light wands at each mile markers according to the official pace time. If you reach a mile marker with a light wand waving, please note you are behind the required 16-minute per mile pace and can be picked up at any time and transported to the course pick up tent.

The CLIF BAR Pace Team

The CLIF BAR Pace Team will be returning as this year's "official" Disney Princess Half Marathon pace team. 

Here's How It Works:

  • Each Pace Leader will run even splits (every mile will be run in the same amount of time) throughout the race.
  • By following your Pace Team leader, you'll cross the finish line in under two minutes of your goal time.
  • Pace Teams will be provided for the following finish times:

Princess Half Marathon - 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, and 3:00

Meet Your Pacer at the Expo

  • Meet your Pace Team leader before the race at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
  • Learn about your Pacer's marathon experience; insights on staying hydrated during the race; and assorted tips.
  • Get your free Pace Band from a Pace Leader. 

Where to Meet on Race Day

On race morning, pace leaders will be lined up according to their pace and holding signs with their finish times.  Join your appropriate pace group.
