REGISTRATION
What is included in the registration fee?
Registration includes a commemorative shirt, gEAR bag, iGiftBag, and race bib. For more information on what is included in your registration fee, please see the Events page.
How do I know if I'm registered?
Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email that will serve as your only confirmation of registration. To receive another registration confirmation, please visit the Registration Confirmation page.
Are men allowed to participate?
Yes, while the Princess Half Marathon celebrates women, it is open to everyone (ages 14 and over) and we encourage men to participate. All participants receive the same amenities, including a race shirt (in men's and women's cut) and a finisher medal.
Is there a minimum age to register for the race?
You must be at least 10 years old to participate in the 10K, 14 years old to participate in the Half Marathon, and 14 years old to participate in the Glass Slipper Challenge presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Does my race registration include entry into the park?
Race registration includes entry into the theme parks only during the races; a Theme Park ticket is not required to participate in the races. For visits to the Theme Parks during the rest of your stay at the Walt Disney World® Resort, valid admission must be purchased separately.  Specially priced Theme Park tickets can be purchased by calling 407-939-iRUN.
What is included on my personalized bib?
Your personalized bib will include your first name and your race number.
Are there gender specific sizes for the participant shirts?
Men’s and women’s short-sleeved tech shirts are offered for the 10K, the Half Marathon, Glass Slipper Challenge participants.  5k and runDisney    Kids Races participants receive a unisex sized t-shirt. For more information on tech shirt sizing, please view the size chart.
Do I need to submit proof of time?
Submitting a proof of time is solely used for corral placement in the Half Marathon   and Glass Slipper Challenge. Corral placement is based on your anticipated finish time. If you do not submit a proof of time, you will be placed in the last start corral. For information on acceptable proof of time or how to submit your proof of time, please visit the Runner Info page. You do not need to submit a proof of time for the 10K, 5K, or runDisney    Kids Races.
What do I need for my proof of time?
Participants in the Half Marathon will need to provide results from a certified 10K race or longer on or after February 1, 2013. Participants in the Half Marathon and Glass Slipper Challenge will need to provide results from a certified 10 mile race or longer on or after February 1, 2013. When submitting proof of time, include the race name, finish time, distance, date, city and state e.g., Princess Half Marathon, 2:30, 13.1 miles, January 11, 2014 Orlando, FL. Please email your proof of time information to disneysports@trackshack.com by December 1, 2014. No proof of time changes will be made in the system after December 1, 2014, including at Packet Pick-Up at the RunDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
What if I have a better proof of time than when I first registered?
Please email your updated proof of time (include the race you registered for, your official race time, along with the year and name of the race) to disneysports@trackshack.com by December 1, 2014. No proof of time changes will be made in the system after December 1, 2014, including at Packet Pick-Up at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
What happens if I do not submit proof of time?
Participants registered for the Half Marathon, and Glass Slipper Challenge who do not provide proof of time will be placed in the last start corral.
What forms of payment are accepted for race registration?
Credit and debit cards are acceptable forms of payment for registration for Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Events.  Unfortunately, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Dollars, Disney Reward Dream Dollars, and personal checks are not accepted.
Can I use a Disney Gift Card or Disney Dollars to pay for my race registration?
Unfortunately, Disney Gift Cards and Disney Dollars are not valid forms of payment for a runDisney race registration.
Can my race registration be refunded?
Registration fees for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my race to another participant?
Race registrations for runDisney    events are not transferrable from the original registrant to another participant for safety reasons.

Are commemorative items refundable?
Commemorative items are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-deferrable.

Once a race is sold out, is there any way to register or be put on a waitlist?

Since race registrations are non-refundable, we do not maintain a waitlist for interested participants once all registrations have been sold.  Official travel providers and charity groups may have available registrations for an event.  For more information, please visit the Registration page.
I am unable to attend the race. Am I able to defer my registration?
We offer a deferral program in which you can defer your registration to the same race distance during the same race weekend the following year for a fee, pending race capacity. For more information, please refer to the Registration page.  Half Marathon and Glass Slipper Challenge registrations are eligible for deferral. However, 5K and runDisney    Kids Race registrations are not eligible for deferral.
When will I be able to defer my registration?
A link will be available approximately 5 months prior to the race on the Registration page.  Participants may defer race registration to eligible 2016 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events until December 18, 2014, or until deferrals reach capacity. Please note that, 5K and runDisney    Kids Race registrations are not eligible for deferral.
Can I defer to any race distance?
Per the runDisney    Registration Policy, you can only defer to the same race distance, during the same race weekend the following year.

Can I defer part of the Glass Slipper Challenge registration and still run the other part?
If you are deferring your race registration, you must defer the entire Goofy’s Race and a Half Marathon Challenge or Glass Slipper Challenge. You cannot partially defer a challenge.
Can I defer a 5K registration?
The 5K registrations are non-deferrable, non-transferrable, and non-refundable.
Can I defer a runDisney Kids Race registration?

runDisney  Kids Race registrations are non-deferrable, non-transferrable, and non-refundable.  

I purchased other race weekend products, am I able to defer those as well?

All race weekend products, including ChEAR Squad packages, Pasta in the Park Party tickets, and Commemorative Items, are non-deferrable, non-transferrable, and non-refundable.  

I need some type of guide with me during the race, how do I go about arranging that?

We can offer human guides to assist registered participants with disabilities.  Please contact runDisney   @disneysports.com no later than 90 days prior to an event.  

I did not purchase a commemorative item during registration, can I purchase one now?

Where do I pick up my race packet?
All participants must pick up their race packet at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo held in the HP Field House and Jostens® Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Where should I park for the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo?
Complimentary parking for the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo is available at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
If I can't attend the race, can my race packet be mailed to me?
Per the runDisney    registration policy, we are unable to mail race packets, gEAR bags, race shirts, commemorative pins, commemorative necklaces or commemorative Mickey ears.
Is Packet Pick-Up available the day of the race?
Packet Pick-Up will not be available the morning of any races. Race packets for all Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events must be picked up at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
What do I need to bring to Packet Pick-Up?
To pick up your race packet, you must bring a photo ID and your signed waiver. If the participant is under 18 years old, the waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. Waivers will be available one month before the event and on-site at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
What are acceptable forms of ID to pick up my packet with?
Government issued IDs, including driver’s licenses, passports, and military IDs, and valid student IDs will be accepted as a photo ID.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
For the safety of our athletes, all participants will be required to pick up their own packet at the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo. Individuals will no longer be able to pick up race packets on behalf of other participants.
How do I pick up my child’s packet?
You will need to bring your child’s waiver, which you sign, and your photo ID in order to pick up your child’s packet.
Can I update my proof of time at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo?
All proof of time requests must be submitted by December 1, 2014; we will not be updating corral placements or proof of time at Packet Pick-Up at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
Am I allowed to bring my stroller into the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo?
You will need to park your stroller outside of the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.  Due to safety we do not allow strollers inside the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo venue.
Where can I purchase the New Balance runDisney shoe?
The New Balance running shoes will be available exclusively at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expos for runDisney events in limited quantities. Please note that availability is not guaranteed.

GENERAL RACE QUESTIONS
Will the race be canceled/postponed due to weather?
The Princess Half Marathon Weekend races will be held rain or shine, except in the case of lightning. For the Walt Disney World® Lightning Policy, please see our Safety Page.
Is there a pacing requirement for the race?
Yes, there is a 16-minute per mile pace for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend races. Your time starts (excluding the Family Fun Run 5K and kids races) when you cross the start line timing mat and your B-tag is activated. We suggest that you train for a 15 minute per mile pace to allow time for restroom breaks, photo opportunities, etc.
What happens if I can't keep up with the pacing requirement for any of the weekend events?
Anyone not able to maintain the pace may be picked up and transported to the family reunion area at any point along the course.
Are you allowed to wear a costume for the Princess Half Marathon, 10K and 5K?
Yes, but your costume cannot include a face mask. Anyone seen in violation of this will be removed from the course. If your costume is questionable or offensive to others, we reserve the right to either ask you to change into something more appropriate or remove you from the event.
Can I use my iPod, MP3 player or headphones?
Headphones can be worn but are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure your safety.
Will bag check be available for this race?
You will receive a clear plastic bag at Packet Pick-Up, please use this bag for the bag check service. We will not accept any other type of bag. You will also receive a numbered bag check sticker at Packet Pick-Up. You should place the sticker in the clearly defined area on your clear plastic bag. Please attach the sticker to the clear plastic bag prior to arriving at Bag Check. Once you finish, your race number will be used to verify your bag when you pick it up. Any bags not picked up by the end of the race will be taken to Epcot® Lost & Found. Please do not check any valuable items. The Event Staff is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
If my friend or family member is assigned to a different corral, can we change corrals?
Corral placement is based on each individuals anticipated finish time. The person placed in the faster corral is allowed to move back to a slower corral, but no one is allowed to move forward.
Can a male runner start the race with his female running partner?
Yes, men and women can start the race together provided they qualify for the same start corral. The only exception is the two first corrals which will be reserved for our elite and faster female runners.
How many water and food stops will be located on the Princess 10K and Half Marathon?
A total of 9 Dasani water and lemon-lime PowerAde stops will be located along the Half Marathon course. Stops are placed approximately 1.5 miles apart along the course and both Dasani water and lemon-lime PowerAde will be available at all stops. One food stop with Clif Shots will be available near Mile 9. Please see the Course page for more information.
Is Food and Beverage available prior to the Races?
Food and beverage will be available for purchase in the Wonder Lot and Imagine Lot at Epcot® from 3:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday February 23rd
Is the Princess Half Marathon course certified?
Yes, the Princess Half Marathon course is certified by USA Track & Field.
Which timing splits will be provided for the Half Marathon?
Your race results for the Half Marathon will include splits for the 5K, 10K and 15K. Your overall gun and net time are also provided.
Where can I find my race results?
You will be able to view your results on the Results page of our site and will be posted online within 24 hours of the conclusion of the race.
How do I find my race photos after the race?
Please visit marathonfoto.com to view your race photos. You will need your race number to access your photos. Please allow 48 hours after the race for photos to be loaded.
How can I view my race certificate after the race?
Please visit mydisneymarathon.com to view your race certificate.
Is there an awards ceremony?
Yes, top finisher awards for the Princess Half Marathon will be presented at the awards ceremony. Top finishers for the 10K and Age group awards will be mailed following the race. Please allow for 4-6 weeks delivery. Please see our Awards page for more information on awards and the awards ceremony.
Are men eligible for awards?
Only women will be eligible for overall, military, masters, and age group awards. Men who register and run as part of a co-ed team are eligible for co-ed team awards. All male finishers will receive medals.
TEAMS
How can I participate as part of a team?
Official team race registrations will not be available; however, you may purchase commemorative team bibs to celebrate with family and friends during the event weekend. For more information, please visit the Commemorative Items section.
What is included in a commemorative team bib registration
Commemorative Team registrations include a personalized team bib, an additional commemorative item, and an exclusive photo area at the Disney Health & Fitness Expo.
Can I wear my team bib during the race?
You may wear your commemorative team bib while participating in a race; however, your official race bib with the ChronoTrack B-tag must be worn and visible. Anyone on the race course without an official race bib will be removed.
Will there be team awards?
There will be no awards given for teams.
Do I have to be a registered runner to be on a team?
You do not need to be registered for a race during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend to purchase a bib. Please note that all commemorative bibs must be picked up at the Health and Fitness Expo, and no items will be mailed after the event weekend.
Can I make a team order and add more team members later? Is there a minimum order?
You may not add additional bibs after making your initial order; however, there is no minimum order, and team members may order the same team name on their commemorative bib in a separate transaction.
How many people can be on a team?
There is no limit for number of team members with the commemorative team order.
Who will pick up the commemorative bibs?
The person who paid for the order will pick up the bibs at the Disney Health & Fitness Expo. Please note, no items will be mailed after the event weekend.
GLASS SLIPPER CHALLENGE
I registered for the Half Marathon and 10K separately; do I still qualify for the Glass Slipper Challenge?
Unfortunately, no, you have to register specifically for Glass Slipper Challenge to be eligible.
Is there anything special I need to do following the race?
Following the Marathon on Sunday, proceed to the Glass Slipper Challenge tent to receive your Glass Slipper Challenge medal.
What if I can't meet the pacing requirement and get pulled from the course, do I still get the Glass Slipper Challenge Medal?
Unfortunately, no, if you are pulled from the course for whatever reason, you will not receive your Glass Slipper Challenge medal.
Will I have to wear different bibs each day of the race, or do I only receive one?
You will only receive one bib which will be a Glass Slipper Challenge bib. You will need to wear the same bib for both the 10K and Half Marathon in order to receive the Glass Slipper Challenge medal.
5K
Where is the 5K located?
The 5K will be located at Disney's EPCOT® Theme Park.
Will there be a stroller division?
The 5K course will NOT allow strollers.
Is the course wheel chair accessible?
Yes, the course will be wheel chair accessible. Wheelchair participants must participate in a racing wheelchair under their own power.
Is Packet Pick-Up available the day of the race?
No, all the Disney's Family Fun Run 5K Weekend race packets must be picked up at the Disney Fit for a Princess Expo and will not be available the day of the race.

Where is the 10K located?

RACE RETREAT/CHEAR ZONE
Where is Race Retreat located?
The Race Retreat tent is located in the Family Reunion Area (Wonder Lot) at Epcot® as part of the staging area for both the half marathon and 10K. For more information please visit our Event page.
When is the Race Retreat?
The Race Retreat takes place on both Saturday, February 22, and Sunday, February 23, 2014. Runners may enter the race retreat starting at 3:00a.m. Spectators may enter the race retreat at 5:30a.m. For more information please visit our Event page.
Where are the ChEAR Zones Located?
There is one [1] standing room only on course location at the Magic Kingdom in front of Cinderella Castle. There is also a reserved seating location at the finish line in the Imagine Lot at Epcot®.

PASTA IN THE PARK
What is Pasta in the Park?
Pasta in the Park is a buffet pasta dinner available from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with a 9:00 p.m. viewing of Illuminations on Friday February 21st, and Saturday February 22nd, 2014 at Epcot®. For more information on Pasta in the Park, please visit the Pasta in the Park web page.

Are there Children's tickets?
Yes, there are children's tickets available for children 3-9 years old. Children under 3 years of age are free.

Is admission to the park included in race registration?
Admission to the theme parks is not included in race registration. You must purchase a theme park ticket to enter any of the theme parks before the race and/or after party. SPECTATORS & TRANSPORTATION
Is event transportation provided?
Princess Half Marathon Weekend transportation has been arranged for Guests staying at Walt Disney World® Resort hotels including Shades of Green® and Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. Buses will be indicated by runDisney signs placed in the front windows. Please note, transportation is only provided to and from the host resorts. If you are staying at a host resort, please check with your front desk for a pick-up location. Because parking is extremely limited at event venues, Guests staying at host resorts are strongly encouraged to use provided transportation to all Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend events (excluding the Downtown Disney® Cool Down Party). Guests who do not stay at a host resort will need to provide their own transportation to weekend events.
How do I get to the various race starts?
Participants staying at a Walt Disney World® resort should use event transportation to reach all of the Weekend's events. For pick up locations and times, please see your front desk when you check into your resort. Guests not staying at a Walt Disney World® resort will need to provide their own transportation.
If I'm staying at an Epcot® resort, can I walk through Epcot® to get to the buses for the 10K and Half Marathon?
No, you will not be allowed to walk through Epcot® to reach race transportation. If you are staying at a host Epcot® resort, the Event Host Resort transportation will take you directly to the EPCOT.
Is transportation available for spectators?
Yes. Spectators staying at an Event Host Resort can use event transportation. First priority for transportation will be given to race participants! For more details, please visit our Transportation page.
What if I am not staying at a host resort?
No transportation will be provided for guests staying at a non-host resort even if it is on Walt Disney World property. Parking will be available at Epcot® ONLY for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon for the race and at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for the Expo.
Where are spectators allowed to watch the Half Marathon?
Spectators will be able to view their runner in the Magic Kingdom prior to the park opening. The best location to view your runner is at the Finish Line in the Imagine Lot at Epcot®. Please see Spectator Resources for more details.
Where should I plan to meet up with my runner after the race?
Before your runner starts the race, make sure you know your runner's race number, anticipated finish time, what they are wearing and have a plan as to where to meet after the race. Alphabetical Family Reunion signs will be located in the finish line area. We recommend meeting according to the first letter of the participant's last name.
What is runner tracking and where do I sign up for it?
Family and friends will be able to track participants with live online runner tracking by having split times sent to email and text messaging by registering for this service. You will be able to sign up for runner tracking two weeks prior to the race and at runDisney.com/Princess or at the Expo.
OTHER
What is the Coast to Coast Race Challenge?
If you complete a half marathon distance or longer race at both the Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort in the SAME calendar year, then you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement. For more details, visit the Coast to Coast Race Challenge page.
Is the Princess Half Marathon eligible for the Coast to Coast Race Challenge?
Yes, the Princess Half Marathon is eligible for the Coast to Coast Race Challenge.
If I run the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, Princess Half Marathon, and an additional Half Marathon or longer will I eligible for two Coast to Coast medals?
No, you must participate in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, Princess Half Marathon, an additional Half Marathon on the West Coast, and an additional Half Marathon or longer on the East Coast in order to be eligible for two Coast to Coast medals.
How do I earn two Coast to Coast medals?
You must participate in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, Princess Half Marathon, an additional Half Marathon on the West Coast, and an additional Half Marathon or longer on the East Coast in order to be eligible for two Coast to Coast medals. In total you will run four Half Marathons or longer, however you MUST participate in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and Princess Half Marathon to be eligible for two Coast to Coast medals.
If I run the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and Princess Half Marathon can I still receive the Blue Coast to Coast medal?
No, unfortunately not. You will need to keep your pink Coast to Coast medal.
If I am running the in the Walt Disney Marathon Weekend Half Marathon or longer, Tinker Bell Half Marathon, and Princess Half Marathon, can I wait until the Princess Half Marathon to receive the pink Coast to Coast Medal instead of receiving a blue one at Tinker Bell?

What is the Coast to Coast Race Challenge?
If you complete a half marathon distance or longer race at both the Disneyland® Resort and Walt Disney World® Resort in the SAME calendar year, then you will receive an additional medal commemorating your achievement. For more details, visit the Coast to Coast Race Challenge page.
Is the Princess Half Marathon eligible for the Coast to Coast Race Challenge?
Yes, the Princess Half Marathon is eligible for the Coast to Coast Race Challenge.
If I run two races in different years on each coast am I eligible for the coast to coast medal?
In order to be eligible for the Coast to Coast medal you must register and finish a race that is a Half Marathon or longer on each coast in the same calendar year. A calendar year is January 1 – December 31. 
If I run the Princess Half Marathon, Tinker Bell Half Marathon, and an additional Half Marathon or longer will I eligible for two Coast to Coast medals?
In order to be eligible for two Coast to Coast medals you must participate in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, Princess Half Marathon, and two additional Half Marathon or longer, one on  the West Coast and one on the East Coast.
How do I earn two Coast to Coast medals?
To earn two Coast to Coast medals you must participate in the Tinker Bell Half Marathon, Princess Half Marathon, and two additional Half Marathons or longer, one on the West Coast and one on the East Coast. In total you will finish four Half Marathons or longer in the same calendar year, but two of the races must be the Tinker Bell Half Marathon and Princess Half Marathon.

What is included in the registration fee?

Each participant's registration includes a commemorative shirt, iGiftBag, and race bib.

How do I know that I'm registered?

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email from Active.com. This email will serve as your only confirmation of registration.

Can I get an additional registration confirmation emailed to me?

To receive an additional registration confirmation, visit the Registration Confirmation page. Enter the email address you used to register for the race and an additional confirmation email will be sent to you.

Is there a minimum age to register for the race?

Does my race registration include entry into the park?

Theme park tickets must be purchased separately from your race registration. Theme park tickets may be pre-purchased by calling 407-WDW-IRUN.

Do I need to purchase a theme park ticket to participate in the race?

A theme park ticket is not needed to participate in any runDisney race.

What is included on my personalized bib?

Your personalized bib will include your first name and your race number for all runDisney races.

If I am injured, pregnant or no longer able to attend the event, can I get a refund?

Entry fees are non-refundable.

Is there a pacing requirement for the race?

Is this race walker friendly?

All runDisney races are walker friendly as long as the walker can maintain the minimum pacing requirement for the race they are participating in.

What happens if I can't keep up with the pacing requirement?

Anyone not able to maintain the pace may be picked up and transported to the finish at any point along the course.

Are you allowed to wear a costume in runDisney races?

Yes, however, your costume cannot include a face mask. Anyone seen in violation of this will be removed from the course. If your costume is questionable or offensive to others, we reserve the right to either have you change into something more appropriate or remove you from the event.

Are there any other restrictions I should know about?

Yes, additional restrictions may apply on an event-by-event basis. Please review the "Safety" information in the Runner Information page of the event you are interested in.

Can I use my iPod, MP3 player or headphones?

Headphones can be worn but are discouraged due to audio messages that are placed throughout the course to ensure your safety.

Will the race be canceled/postponed due to weather?

All runDisney races will be held rain or shine, except in the case of lightning. For the Walt Disney World® Lightning Policy, please see the Safety information of the Runners Information page of the event you are interested in.

Is bag check available for runDisney races?
