Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Entry fees for the 2014 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend events are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you are currently registered for the 2014 Walt Disney World® 10K, Walt Disney World® Half Marathon, Walt Disney World® Marathon or Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge or Dopey Challenge, you may transfer your registration to one of the other four races, subject to availability, on or before December 1, 2013. A transfer fee will be charged PER TRANSFER.
Transfers are not allowed for the Disney Family Fun Run 5K or runDisney Kids Races events.

Eligibility

Participants for Walt Disney World® Marathon, Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge and Dopey Challenge must be 18 years of age or older.
Participants for Walt Disney World® Half Marathon must be 14 years of age or older.
Participants for Walt Disney World® 10K must be 10 years of age or older.
All ages are welcome to compete in the Disney Family Fun Run 5K.
Children 13 and under can participate in the Mickey Mile. Other runDisney Kids Race distances are determined by age group.

For everyone's safety, baby joggers, strollers, baby carriers, baby backpacks, inline skates, motorized scooters, bicycles, skateboards, canes, crutches, walkers, walking sticks and animals of any kind are prohibited from the course. Violators will be removed from the course and transported to the finish line area.

Proof of Time

New 2014 runDisney proof of time guidelines:

If you believe you will finish the Half Marathon in less than 3:15 hours or the Marathon in less than 6:30 hours, proof of time is required for start corral placement. Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge and Dopey Challenge participants should adhere to Full Marathon proof of time requirements. Please reference the Race Pacing Chart below for finish times and associated pacing per mile.

AProof of time must be provided from a certified race reflecting results after January 1, 2012.

Half Marathon - 10K or longer
Full Marathon - 10 Miles or longer

A valid proof of time provided at the time of registration must include the following*:

If you do not have a proof of time to submit, list "N/A" at the point of registration. If proof of time is not provided by November 1, 2013 you will be placed in the last start corral. If your proof of time data is incomplete or cannot be verified, you will be placed in the last start corral. To provide or update your proof of time, you must email all proof of time data requested above to disneysports@trackshack.com. No corral changes will be made after November 1, 2013.

As a reminder, you will no longer be able to bring proof of your estimated finish time to the Runner Relations booth during the Expo and have your start corral placement changed.

Interested in participating in the 2014 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend as a Charity Group? Here's what you need to know.

Your group must be a section 501(c)(3) Organization.
You must be willing to contract for 30 or more race registrations for the Walt Disney World Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Goofy’s Race and a Half, or Dopey Challenge categories and 90 or more room nights during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.

You'll need to Complete the Charity Group Program Application - fields marked with an * are required. Once your application is reviewed, a runDisney team member will contact you.
